With predictions of rising temperatures, Coral & the team kept a close watch on various forecasts but fortunately they remained stable and judges & helpers agreed to an earlier start so we could aim finish the tests before the warmer afternoon temperatures. We also had the advantage of the wonderful cover of the woodland around which all the tests were based, plenty of shade for both dogs & handlers.
So a big thank you to our judges: Abbie Reid, Colin Pelham, Harriet Newcombe & Lesley Scutter. Competitors appreciated the all the positivity and the tips & hints they were given.

There are so many elements to running a day, without each part coming together, these events will not happen. So to our helpers, another enormous thank you, for giving up your day, whether striding up those steep hills, huddled behind trees or stewards relaying scores and that fine art of managing the flow of double dogs within and across tests. And a shout out too to several members who came to learn the ropes – we hope you had a great day.
Last but not least, as ever, Judges & Helpers please relay our thanks to those who looked after things back at home so others could come out to play.
